Oxide of Chromium is an opaque willow green pigment. Though discovered in 1809 it was only made available for artists in 1862. Today, it is commonly used for camouflage clothing.

"I am finding New Gamboge a wonderful, warm yellow for landscapes. It mixes beautifully with burnt sienna. I also use quinacridone gold and lemon yellow quite a bit, but am very excited by New Gamboge's possibilities."
