This beautifully finished set offers a selection of calligraphy and drawing items in an attractive wooden box, with space for storage of inks and nibs. Each box contains: 5 x calligraphy nibs in a variety of widths, 1 x reservoir for nibs, 1 x wooden dip pen, 1 x instructional leaflet, 8 x 14ml drawing inks: Canary Yellow, Scarlet, Cobalt, Viridian, Nut Brown, Black, Silver, Gold - these are fast-drying, water resistant and transparent. Actual contents may vary.
Overview
Calligraphy is a noble, old art-form and we were determined to do it justice - these inks are made in 18 lightfast colours with carefully chosen pigments to ensure colour brilliance. The 14 blue-capped bottles contain thinner, more transparent inks with a satin finish. They're suitable for dip-pens, fountain pens, technical pens and airbrushes. Our four red-capped bottles are opaque and should be used with a dip-pen or brush. Winsor & Newton Calligraphy Inks have a permanence rating of AA or A but are not waterproof
