How to create a 3D flower using Galeria Acrylic fluorescent colours

  1. Mix fluorescent colours individually with Gloss Gel (or Gel of preference) using a paper cup, container or disposable palette.
  2. Use roughly 2 part paint 1 part gel (the more Gel the more transparent colour becomes).
  3. Drawn a circle using HB pencil on paper or black card. Experiment first on paper to get a sense of the feel of paint viscosity.
  4. Use a round or shaped palette knife to apply paint around inside edge of circle. Start from the outside and work in.
  5. Apply slight downward pressure with palette knife to create ridge / 3D effect. Apply colours whilst still wet. Practice to understand how much pressure to apply and how fast/slow to paint.
  6. Clean palette knife and apply next colour until you reach centre. You can create any pattern you want but imagine following numbers around a clock face as a point of reference.
