Finally added this to my

"Finally added this to my palette, and so glad I did. I take classes and it was perfect timing, we needed to use a very transparent yellow for our weekly project. I would also add that the general consensus of the class was that the Winsor Newton colors are far superior to almost all the other brands students used. The closest would be Daniel Smith, which our instructor tested our last semester, but she switched back to Winsor Newton."

I love this shade but

"I love this shade but Find it difficult to find lately. Your site was the only place I could get it A bit expensive with the postage but a little goes a long way - I use it for Skies mainly but it’s also useful for water. Not too harsh but with a subtle richness."

A beautiful, warm yellow that

"A beautiful, warm yellow that mixes cleanly and gives lovely natural golden tones without becoming harsh. It is strong enough to be useful but remains easy to control in a wash."

Purchased to refill my half

"Purchased to refill my half pans. I like the colour, and tones of this paint. It’s well pigmented so a little goes a long way and great on its own or as a mixer."

The perfect sky! The colour

"The perfect sky! The colour you drop in when you’re asked for ‘a nice sky’ when the photo you’re sent is just, well, dull…. . and grey😜"

French Ultramarine Review

"I bought this as it was recommended in an online tutorial. I use it as a base for a variety of colours, especially for shadows. I find it's slightly grainy which adds a lovely texture to a painting when applied. I'll be using it more in the future."
