
Step 1
Texture Medium adds depth and structure to your work. While some artists use soap as an alternative, it is neither archival nor permanent.

Step 2
Use the medium undiluted, simply pour it into a dish and use it in place of water to mix with your colours.

Step 3
When mixed with your paint, Texture Medium enhances brush strokes and gives body and texture to your colours. It washes off easily with water.

Step 4
Once dry, you can build additional layers without disturbing the paint underneath, as it won’t lift when wet paint is applied on top.

Step 5
Texture Medium works beautifully on black or coloured surfaces when used with opaque pigmented watercolours.

Step 6
You can also use it with Gouache for added texture, or pair it with Watercolour Promarkers to create more defined effects.
